Hello, I am Mira. I have the privilege of being a Registered Psychologist and having served as the Board President (May 2024-2025) for the Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA), representing my colleagues.
My focus is working with individuals dealing with stress, inter-racial relationships, depression, anger, anxiety, self-esteem and identity, family and relationship issues, job tension, abuse and domestic violence.
I tailor my approach to therapy to suit the unique needs and goals of each person with whom I work. I use a trauma informed approach and a culturally sensitive perspective to understand the bio-psycho-social context of people's life stories.
